Our Purpose
As Ontario’s first craft brewer, Waterloo Brewing is known for our dedication to making delicious and consistently high-quality beer, cider and “ready-to-drink” beverages. This is made possible by all the folks who work hard every day to get our products from the tanks in the Brewhouse straight into consumer hands. The team at Waterloo Brewing works together over a combined passion for quality beverages – making a unique and inspiring workplace experience.
We all know that beer is comprised of four ingredients. At Waterloo Brewing, Transparency, Tenacity, Trust, and Together – also known as the 4T’s – are the four ingredients that make up our team. It is through these 4 T’s that we create a unique and inspiring workplace experience, while being recognized as winners in our industry and with our customers.
At Waterloo Brewing, we aren’t afraid of open, honest dialogue. We encourage our teammates to ask questions, share opinions and ask for help when needed. We welcome constructive feedback and dialogue. Company results and metrics are openly shared – keeping us motivated and on track to achieve our goals.
Like the tenacious boar that represents us, the team at Waterloo Brewing is persistent, determined and driven by solutions. We realize that every action matters. We hold each other, and ourselves, accountable. We never give up.
At Waterloo Brewing, we trust that every member of our team has the company’s best interest at heart. We achieve this level of trust by empowering each other to make the best decisions. Our leaders are visible and accessible, encouraging open communication and positive relationship building. We care for each other’s health and wellness.
The team at Waterloo Brewing realizes that success can only be achieved by working together. We put our people first, and we do so by being considerate and supportive. We celebrate and advocate for diversity and inclusion and offer support to our greater community. We know some of the best outcomes are derived from collaboration, and together we win.
Waterloo Brewing is proud to announce a new internal employee recognition program – The Boar Award! Every month, Waterloo Brewing staff will be nominating their peers to be the recipient of The Boar Award. The winners will be the kind of employees who go above and beyond, exemplifying Transparency, Tenacity, Trust, and Together in everything they do. They’re so cool that we want you to get to know them, too!

Review From The Team
It really is a transformational time at the company and exciting to be a part of it. The team as a whole is great. People really seem to get the vision and do what they can to contribute which is a great environment to be a part of. COVID-19 has been hard on everyone, but the company has adapted well both for those that can WFH and those who are essential workers.

Review From The Team
This is a great group of people both on the floor and in the office. They have a good leadership team, strong director team and a hands-on, young and approachable supervisory team. They try to have fun events and show appreciation when they can. Sometimes it gets so busy that your day just flies by!
Review From The Team
It is great to be part of something local with great-tasting products, too. There is lots of opportunity to move up if you show initiative.
